I have done some of the craziest things in my life and one of them was photographic modeling in my mid 40's. (Some of the pictures taken from a fashion shoot.)
Did I have fun? Of course I did! My best friend was my photographer and I knew I could enjoy all my shoots and have a roaring time.
Do I think that was crazy at my age? Of course I do! But the experiences I’ve had have shaped me to become the woman I am today.
What woman is that? A woman who loves to give to other women, who wants to inspire other women and help them to become the best they can be with the knowledge and experience they have.
Why? Think of the world as a revolving room. Every mile the bus stops and someone jumps off to give out information. The information is always positive, full of substance, informative, builds your confidence and self-esteem.
Now you have to take the next mile and feed the person at the next stop. Can you imagine how amazing this world would be if we all had something positive to share. If we all said things about each other that were worthy of being said or heard. If each person smiled all day instead of frown or complain, what a world this would be.
So today I want to challenge you. I want you to pick 2 people on your friends list a day and tell each one something nice. Tell them what you appreciate or admire about them, how kind and caring they are or whatever it is you can tell them that is nice.
Remember the exercise is to become more positive and leave behind the banter and upsets in the world. Even the people you don’t like for whatever reason. Think of at least one good thing you can tell them.
If there is nothing good you can say about a person, then don’t say anything at all. And question. Why are they on your friend list if you cannot say something good about them?
Here is an example:
I have decided that everyday I am going to tell two of my friends on my list something I admire or appreciate about them and today you are one of the two.
You are a very talented designer and so patient. You are also very kind and I appreciate that you and your wife give food parcels to the less fortunate in your area.
May you continue to do good and be blessed!
Have an awesome day filled with love, joy and peace!!!
Go on, you can do it!
